We woke up at 3 am on a Friday to find that we had a broken pipe in our second floor guest bathroom which resulted in damage to our ceiling and walls on the main level and the basement. After getting things contained, we called Dries - they worked directly with our insurance adjuster to explain what needed to be done to properly restore our home and handled some of the wall repairs along with the painting. Overall, we were very happy with the quality and timliness of service. We plan to use Dries for other projects in the future.

We recently had our home (built in 1925) painted. This was a complicated job, with stone, stucco, metal and wood surfaces involved. We could not have been more satisfied with the job. Nate and Orlando were professional, courteous, excellent painters. We highly recommend Dries Painting!

Donnie's crew just completed our exterior painting and stucco repair of our home. I can only give positive feedback for this was a huge commitment by us and Donnie help us feel confident through the entire process. Donnie's crews work well together are friendly and hard working. Donnie and his team fixed crumbling stucco and painted the outside of our 100 year-old home and garage this summer. At all times, Donnie was responsive to our needs, gave us unbiased guidance and explained the status of the work and next steps. The team worked diligently and were flexible around our schedule. Donnie is by far the best in the business. I hired him on a 'need it done yesterday' project and he came through with flying colors! I first hired him to paint my tired kitchen. The work was done quickly and extremely professionally. I then asked him to stain some sorry looking woodwork in my 100 year old home. All came out looking like new. We then went on to freshening closets and ceilings. Donnie is an extreme perfectionist that takes great pride in his work. He is happy to tackle any project. His workers are hard working, polite and professional. Moreover, his rates are extremely fair. Donnie is a pleasure to work with - I offer my very highest recommendation.

Donnie took our job on extremely short notice and got our house painted in a week. He really has can do approach. The crew was punctual and worked very hard. They took care of anything that we asked. The cost was very reasonable and our house looks great. I would definitely use him again.

Donnie and his team literally completed a facelift to my house! My exterior was dull and had a tired look. Donnie was the only contractor I spoke to (through Home Depot) who had a perfect rating and who had a "can do" attitude. Everyone else told me I would have to replace the vinyl and roofing to get the look I was after. Donnie advised me that there was paint available for the Vinyl and the roof. He saved me a ton of time and inconvenience, not to mention money. The team were quick, courteous and very professional. I truly appreciated the advice, personal investment in the outcome and extreme attention to detail. I would highly recommend Donnie and team and would only use Dries Painting for my future paint work!

Property address: 2210 N Lake Drive, Milwaukee I contracted with Dries painting to paint the entire interior of my 4000 sqft house. Donnie came to talk to me and view the property to prepare an estimate. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very nice to work with. It is a historic house, so there were stains, plaster damage and cracks in several areas. From that point on through the completion of the project, Donnie assisted me at every stage of the project - making decisions, color selection etc. Donnie worked in my best interest throughout the project. His price was very fair, and workmanship of the highest quality. His team painted the woodwork and walls with meticulous detail. I love the new colors in my house, and receive compliments from my friends whenever they visit! I will be hiring Dries painting to repair stucco and damaged wood boards all around my house this summer. It is a big and important project for my house, and I would entrust it no one else but Donnie's team. I would highly recommend Dries painting for your next project.

We completed our 2,000 sq ft space and it looks stunning because of the great job done by Dries Painting. I worked with Donnie from A to Z. He got me several samples before the work to make sure that there is no confussion. He put extra effort to make sure that the staining looks consistent across different species of wood we had. His pricing was very reasonable for the effort involved. Donnie started the work as he promised with several folks and finished everything within a week. I will have Donnie and his crew back again if I need any other paining services and recommend all my friends. Thank you Donnie for taking care of me.

Donnie and his crew did a great job in painting and remodeling our home. He was very attentive to detail. He gave his crew specific direction and followed up to make sure the job was done to perfection. He assisted me with colors and everything just flowed. Dries Painting Co. is a most reliable and professional company to do business with. I had the woodwork in our sunroom varnished, and this consisted of 12 casement and 4 double hung windows, two skylights, a patio door and screen and all the trim around the windows and base boards. Oh, and some staining was done, too. Donnie arrived at 8:30 and was out at 3:30 PM. The end results is like new windows & door, a like new room. Everything was left in spic & span condition. I will have Donnie and his crew back again to take care of our painting needs. Thanks again for your good work and efforts.

We hired Donnie and his crew to paint the exterior of our house that has HardiPlank (Fiber Cement Lap Board) siding. They did a fantastic job. Their attention to detail is unrivaled. Our house is now the talk of the subdivision. They weren't done until every last detail was taken care. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have painting done. I hired Dries Painting to complete some peeling paint FHA required on the foreclosure I had purchased (my first home). It was obvious that the patch work FHA required just wasn't going to cut it. Donnie the owner, was very professional and considerate and made it affordable to have the whole house painted. I was given an April 5th deadline by inspector to have job complete. As we all know one 2013-14 WAS one of the worst winters ever. Despite the uncooperative weather and pressure from investor Donnie remained patient. He went over and beyond to get the job completed in a timely fashion and his experience influenced me to pick the right color :) The end result proved spectacular. Several neighbors have commented and I confidently recommend Donnie Dries. Thanks AGAIN!

We recently decided to paint our living room and received quotes from several painters. Donald came over and gave us the best offer for what we were looking for. He was able to fit us into his schedule very quickly and we are extremely happy with the great job that was done. Donald advised us on colors and materials to be used. I hired Dries Painting to inspect, repair and paint the first and second floor soffits of my home. Built in 1915, the house is listed on both the state and federal historical registries. Over time, portions of the wooden soffits had deteriorated and appeared to be separating from the copper gutters. It was clear that there was a water problem, but the source was not. At the onset of the project, Don and his employees needed to determine the construction of the gutter system which was built into the soffits. Don and his employees had the experience to make an assessment, provide a sound solution, and communicate to with me during the process. I made several changes to the original work order and Don remained patient throughout. With proper diagnosis, the water damage we feared would require expensive copper gutter and roof repair was solved with a simple solution. The result was exceptional. The workmanship went beyond my expectations. I confidently recommend Don Dries to anyone in need of a painter. Particularly, if the job will require added skills to get the job done properly.

I spotted a Dries Painting sign several weeks ago while walking in my Washington Heights neighborhood. After a quick look at the website when I returned home, I contacted them for an estimate on painting the stucco exterior and wood soffits of our home. Donnie met me the very next day and promptly sent an estimate via email. His confident assessment of the stucco’s condition and explanation of what needed to get done before any painting started was reassuring. He and his crew started transforming the exterior with each visit. Donnie gave us good direction as we evaluated different shades of blue and listened to what we were hoping to see as an end result. I appreciated his candor in discussions about adding an additional color and his prompt revision of the original estimate when we decided to go for it. His skillful crew did wonderful work on our house and it was a treat to see it each day as progress was being made. The attention to detail was evident to us, our visitors and neighbors throughout the transformation. I’d also like to compliment Donnie’s assistant, Kryssy. She helped keep communication flowing and sent emails regularly about schedule, next steps, and payment. I often got real-time updates from Donnie via text or a call, but it was very helpful that Kryssy followed up with emails to confirm plans. We’re still known as the “blue house” on the block, but the fresh paint with new details to enjoy and hiring Donnie to execute the plan have made us feel like we have an even better blue house than before! Looking forward to taking pictures of the house with new paint on it in the fall and winter and expect to see the Dries Painting sign again on my walks around the neighborhood. We will gladly recommend Dries Painting to others without hesitation. It’s nice to know we can confidently tell people who to call when they are looking for a painter. Save some time and call him first when you need an estimate.
